The list follows the map: search or pan, and it re-ranks the clinics in view by our published, independent criteria — no pay-to-rank. "Open now" uses each clinic's published hours. Clinics without usable coordinates appear in the state listings but not on the map.
“Practice” reads every specialty a clinic has registered in the federal NPI directory, not just its main one, so a practice that does two things appears under both. “Accepts Medicare” comes from the federal CMS provider-enrollment file, or from the clinic itself where it has claimed its listing. A clinic missing from that file is not shown as refusing Medicare — we mark only what we can confirm, which is why there is no opposite filter.
